mission
Statement of Need
Vulnerable adults experiencing homelessness face severe, life-threatening food insecurity every day. Without stable housing, acquiring nutritious food becomes a secondary priority to basic survival, leading to chronic malnutrition and worsened physical and mental health conditions. Traditional food systems often fail to reach this marginalized population due to high barriers to access, lack of transportation, and systemic isolation. Providing immediate, low-barrier access to nourishing meals is not just a matter of charity; it is a critical intervention necessary to stabilize lives, restore human dignity, and establish a foundation from which individuals can transition out of homelessness.
